Hello everyone, how y’all doing?!?! So sorry that I have been gone for so long. Seems like my one week vacation was extended to three weeks huh. After we got back from our trip to Montreal and Quebec, Mr. Photographer and I have been quite busy that we didn’t have time for photo shoot or blogging. We’re always on the go as we are prepping for the arrival of our new house (yes, we just bought a house and waiting for it to be built!).  And uh, I’ve to admit that I was slacking too, guess have to blame it on the “summer brain”, nothing much get done when the weather is so gorgeous out there…lol!!! I will definitely make up for the all the postings that I haven’t done in the last three weeks by the end of this month!

I wanted to share with you guys a belated birthday celebration that Mr. Photographer had for me on Friday. Why so late?! Well, on my actual birthday (July 14th), we were invited to our friend’s newly bought cottage for my birthday celebration at the beach earlier that day, and Mr. Photographer had planned to take me our for dinner that night. However, after driving for 4 hours and spending the whole day at the beach, swimming and playing water sports, we’re too exhausted to go out for a dinner as planned. I remember we ended going to bed super early that day and I wasn’t upset at all because that was definitely a mutual agreement. After all, Mr. Photographer promised to take me out for belated birthday dinner on Friday. Yay!

I was so looking forward to Friday the dinner and I wonder where he is going to take me this time. Honestly, it has been a long time since the two of us have been out for a dinner date night, so we took the chance to dress to the nines. I wanted a elegant and classy look, so I picked this little black dress that I got from H&M few months ago. I love the fabric, pattern and the fit of the dress, and with the price of $39 CAD, I couldn’t say no to this LBD. Mr. Photographer was shocked when I told him about the price of this dress, I couldn’t believe it either. I would say this is my favourite piece from H&M, and is among the higher quality items they have in store. I’m not sure if this dress is still available in store, but they do have this dress in light beige as shown on their website. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a dress in this style!

If you know me well, I love statement necklace and when I have a simple dress like this, how can I resist this gorgeous statement necklace that arrived just right before my birthday. The gemstones pastel pink necklace definitely add colour and fun to the entire look. Surprisingly, this necklace is not that heavy for its size and I was able to wear to it comfortably all night. That’s always a bonus when you’ve a big statement necklace like this one. DSC_2160

Happy Monday everyone!

From Tory Burch’s optic geometric shoulder bag to Brian Atwood Electra suede boots, a trend that is seen all over spring runway, is the laser-cut details. The perforated detailing creates its very own intricate designs, resulting in stunning effects on every piece of fashion garment. Inspired by this hottest trend, I’ve combined the laser-cut structured leather satchel and pleated suede skirt for that edgy yet romantic look.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a great week so far. My weekend started early this week because I took Thursday and Friday off. I always enjoy my time off – go to the gym, catch up with friends over brunch, check-off items on my to-do list and say hi to the blogsphere:)

This gorgeous necklace just arrived at my door steps few days ago {thank you Mr. Postman}. I saw it for the first time on a sales associate at Anthropologie and wanted it so badly, but I was told it’s out of stock. I was quite disappointed then, but to my surprise, I spotted it online few weeks ago and bought it right away. Absolutely love it! If you are hunting for a statement necklace, you can’t go wrong with this one.

I found this skirt while re-organizing my closet over the weekend. I couldn’t even remember when was the last time I wore this piece. When Mr. Photographer saw me in this skirt, he had a big smile on his face ❤
