Green Wall :: High-low Skirt & Sheer Lace Top

Posted on

Ladies, do you remember the high-low skirt that got so popular last spring/summer? Do you think it’s still in style? Personally, I really don’t care if a style is still in the current trend or not because I’m wearing it for myself and not for the runway. The high-low skirts are ultra-versatile and feminine. They can function as sexy summer skirts or sassy date night skirts, depending on your accessories, top and shoes. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that these skirts also give an illusion of longer legs when you were them high-waisted, and make sure you wear them with a pair of killer shoes!

Have a terrific weekend everyone! Thanks for stopping by:)

Skyline :: Criss-cross Top & Skater Skirt

Does the colour coordination of this outfit remind you of the clear blue sky on a beautiful summer evening? Thanks to this beautiful picture that I came across recently, which has inspired me to put together this outfit that I’m very pleased with and it’s by far my favourite combination I had for this skirt. I really like how the blue top compliment and bring out the colours on the skirt even more.

Minty Mix :: Bows and Lace

Hello darlings! Hope you had a terrific weekend! Thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my “Runway to My Way“. I had so much fun with that post and I’m on the way looking for another set of runway inspiration! So stay tune! 🙂

Switching up the gear a little, I’m going with soft pastel colours instead of bright jewel hues that you’ve seen in my last few outfits. Mixing up different tones of mint, soft pink and cream, and accessorizing it with lace, bows and some blings for that girlie glam look. Voila!

…and if you haven’t noticed, I’ve severe obsession for bows, especially those on my shoes. I’m always in the hunt for one even though I already have one, two, threefour and few more, and here’s another new family member I recently adopted from Ruche. How cute is she!!! I’m so in love with her. I’d buy all of them if they come in all shades of colour. No kidding! Unfortunately, they don’t even have this pair on their website anymore:( Looks like people have found this pretty lady!

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great week and I will see you soon! xoxo

Runway to My Way :: Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 Trench Coat

Posted on

Since I was very young, one of my favourite TV channels was the one that broadcast any fashion shows around the world. I remembered even before I know how to read the word ‘couture’ or ‘high fashion’, I already enjoyed looking at pages and pages of runway pictures on magazines and newspapers. One thing that was always a mystery to me is that do people really wear them? Because some of them really look like it’s designed for aliens or it’s inappropriate to wear it in the public. To be honest, I had no idea about runway fashion!

Not anymore! I definitely appreciate all the creativity and hardship invested into every pieces I see nowadays. Even more for those Ready-to-Wear pieces! Wish I had the wealth to own those designers pieces that I’ve been craving for, but I really can’t afford it for now. But we can always make do, right? Hence, I’m starting this new series on the blog called “Runway to My Way”, a platform where I will translate the latest design inspirations into outfits that I would wear in the real life, and most important, it’s budget friendly! Hope you enjoy it!

My Way - Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013

As you can see from the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 runway, it seems like the models are wearing the trench coat as a dress. So did I! Also, I’m tried to capture the bright colours and bold jewel hues on the trench coats, and the shine from the metallic and satin accessories. Hope I passed:P

Thank you so much for reading! I really hope you enjoy reading this post. If you did, please ‘like’ or ‘subscribe’! Also, feel free to leave me any comments/suggestions:D
