Spring 2013 :: Black & White

Hello hello to all my darlings! So sorry that I haven’t been posting in the last week. I was caught up with a project that I’m currently working on, that I can’t wait to share it with all of you:) We just finished with the photoshoots yesterday and looks like I’ll be spending my weekend editing them. So, stay tuned!

For now, let me introduce one of the spring’s biggest trends that you might already have abundance of them in your closet. No need to splurge on pastel and neon pieces, or to scratch your head thinking if you can pull it off or not. It’s the black and white trend that was seen on the runways of Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. When black and white become a duo, suddenly things are high-contrast and visually interesting. This look can be classic, chic, fresh or modern, depending on your creativity. The best part? It’s so easy. My favorite way to wear black and white is with colorblocking, and mixing up prints and patterns. Also, don’t forget about accessories, shoes and purses, to complete the look. The bonus is that both black and white work well with colors, just like what I’d here with the pop of red!
