Sweet Date :: Trench coat & Spring motif scarf

Posted on

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m so sorry that it’s been almost a week since my last post. I’ve been feeling under the weather in the last few days, but don’t you worry, I’m doing great now and happy to be back at my desk!

Can you tell these photos were taken on a beautiful warm day? Yes!! Last Sunday was the warmest day we haven’t had since last December. With such a gorgeous day, Mr. Photographer and I decided to go on a date in Toronto since the last time was a while ago. We had lunch in Kensington Market at one of the best vegetarian gluten free restaurant – Hibiscus and shopped around for a bit at the local consignment stores. Then, we head over to The Distillery Historic District, an internationally acclaimed pedestrian-only village and one of my favourite place in town. As you can see, this place is covered with restored red brick everywhere and not to forget, its Victorian-era buildings of the renowned Gooderham & Worts whiskey distillery. Our last stop is at the Pure Spirits Oyster House and Grill, which is Mr. Photographer’s favourite restaurant for fresh oyster. If you’re not an oyster fan like me, there are many other scrumptious dishes to choose from. We’re exhausted by the end of the day, but both of us agreed it was the best way to spend that beautiful Sunday.

Thank you so much for reading! See you at the next post:)

Spring Forward :: Lemon Yellow and the Dots

To all women in this world, Happy International Women’s Day!

To celebrate the arrival of spring, I bought myself this lemon yellow scalloped hem top that I can’t wait to come out with more outfit combinations. Combining the bright hues with polka dots, I thought it just add a  touch of fun and cuteness to the entire look. Don’t mind the not-so-cool looking winter boots, hopefully I can store it away soon and bring out the sandals and heels:)

If you live in the daylight saving time zones, don’t forget to change your clock this Sunday at 2 a.m. Have a fantastic weekend and bye for now.

Laser-cut :: Suede Skirt and Leather Satchel

Happy Monday everyone!

From Tory Burch’s optic geometric shoulder bag to Brian Atwood Electra suede boots, a trend that is seen all over spring runway, is the laser-cut details. The perforated detailing creates its very own intricate designs, resulting in stunning effects on every piece of fashion garment. Inspired by this hottest trend, I’ve combined the laser-cut structured leather satchel and pleated suede skirt for that edgy yet romantic look.

My favourite picture of the day! Moment captured by Mr. Photographer=)

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a great week so far. My weekend started early this week because I took Thursday and Friday off. I always enjoy my time off – go to the gym, catch up with friends over brunch, check-off items on my to-do list and say hi to the blogsphere:)

This gorgeous necklace just arrived at my door steps few days ago {thank you Mr. Postman}. I saw it for the first time on a sales associate at Anthropologie and wanted it so badly, but I was told it’s out of stock. I was quite disappointed then, but to my surprise, I spotted it online few weeks ago and bought it right away. Absolutely love it! If you are hunting for a statement necklace, you can’t go wrong with this one.

I found this skirt while re-organizing my closet over the weekend. I couldn’t even remember when was the last time I wore this piece. When Mr. Photographer saw me in this skirt, he had a big smile on his face ❤

Thanks for stopping by. Have a terrific weekend!
