Full Bloom :: Bubble Skirt & Red Trench Coat

Posted on

DSC_0493

The long waiting Spring has finally arrived, it hit 10+ degree Celcius yesterday. Of course I was super excited to dress up for a day out with Mr. Photographer. We decided to take the kiddo along with us this time, referring to my baby sister, brother and Cody(my fur baby), for a trip to Niagara Falls. Long story short, it’s lots of fun and I was so ready for bed the moment we left the restaurant after dinner.

As for the outfit, I wanted something fun and bright to celebrate the warm weather. Hence, the bubble skirt with the over-sized hibiscus at the front and back, pairing it with a darker tone blouse for contrast. The bright red trench coat and comfy boots definitely come in handy as the temperature dropped drastically after sunset. Oh, dressing for the so called “transitional season” is quite something…DSC_0527

When I spotted this skirt at Marshall last month, I couldn’t help it but to rush to the fitting room right away. It’s perfect! What else can I ask for when the two of my favourite trends – Peplum and Polka dots, became friends with the skirt:)

Happy Sunday! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. Just wanna drop by to say hello and do a quick post on the outfit I wore yesterday.

DSC_0426

If you haven’t noticed, I’m usually in skirts or dresses most of the time. Reason?? Somehow it’s so hard for me to find a nice pair of pants or jeans that actually fit or look good on me. Well, blame it on my stubby legs and short figure:( Not until recently, I’ve discovered this legging skimmer jeans from GAP that I totally adore. They come in petite, regular and tall sizes that (hopefully) fits everyone. The best part is, it comes in so many colours and prints. Oh, I just can’t wait for it to go SALE and I’m definitely going to stock up a few:) Check it out yourself if you’ve the same dilemma as I am or you’re just in the hunt for some pretty bright jeans for the spring!

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far.

Have you ever waking up in the morning and knowing what to wear after looking out of the window? Well, I had those moment this morning when I saw the clear blue sky and was inspired to put together this outfit. I think fashion is a great way to express your own feelings/emotions. Personally, I’m easily affected by the mother nature and I always joke around that I have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). LOL! Can you guess what I’m trying to tell you through my outfit?

Well, I’m so happy (bright blue colour) that it’s a beautiful sunny day, but at the same time, it’s kinda depressing (the grey hues) that we’re not quite having the Spring weather yet because it’s so cold out there. Did you get it right?!

Have fun with fashion and don’t be shy to express the real you, even if it’s bright neon colours from head to toe, because I know you’re happy and super excited!

Hell0 everyone!  Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

DSC_0253

Driving around town today, all I see is crowds of people in green – green pants, sweater, hat, skirt, legging and you name it. Here’s my way of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day – through fashion. I couldn’t resist myself to put on something green too, to feel like being part of this fun day, given that I don’t drink. Let me know if you also wore something green today:)
