Love at First Sight :: Structured Satchel

It ‘s been a while I haven’t had love at first sight for a handbag until I saw this Michael Kors Selma satchel few weeks ago. Here I am, taking the beauty out for a spin. I always adore a handbag with structural design because the clean lines tends to lend a put-together vibe to any look. It was a tough decision though as I debate to get the one in black or white. Anyhow, I ended up taking home the white one, thinking that it would be perfect for spring. But I changed my mind right after. Honestly, I’m a clumsy person that I will ruin this beautiful white saffiano leather satchel in no time with either pen ink or who knows. Hence, I exchanged for a black one. No regret  at all – it’s classic and elegant! The pink and green one is just as beautiful and fun, perfect for spring/summer or if you’re one who tends to wear darker or neutral colour, this would be a great investment to add a pop of colour to your outfit .

This year’s Valentine’s day is no ordinary for me and Mr. Photographer. February 14, 2013 marked the very special day for both of us. With the blessing of our families and friends, we signed the paper that changed the status of ours from ‘single’ to ‘married’. Thank you so much for all the care and love. Here’s something sweet to share with all of you.

Hugs and kisses from me and Mr. Photographer!

Coral & Blue :: Mini Honeymoon

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great week so far. So sorry that I haven’t been posting since last week as Mr. Photographer and I went away for our mini honeymoon. Mini Honeymoon?! Yes, we actually just had our ROM (Registration of Marriage) Ceremony on Valentine’s Day. Nothing fancy, we just went to Niagara Falls after the ceremony and spent our weekend there at the Hilton Hotel. We have been to Niagara Falls countless time, but we never get bored of it! There’re lots to see, do and eat!

It was a gorgeous morning after a stormy night on Valentine’s day. We’re super excited to see the clear blue sky and some sun shine peaking through the clouds (that means great photoshoot day:D). After breakfast, out we go for a stroll with our gadgets! Hope you’d like Mr. Photographer’s work and my outfit combination. This outfit was actually inspired by the balloons I brought with me after the ceremony. Something sweet, soft and fun!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!! This special day calls for a little romance. Here’s a little inspiration for you ladies out there – a pink dress coat that can be worn as a dress or coat, pair it with some cute accessories, and you’re ready for a date!

I love this coat because of the unique draping. but without the belt to cinch the waist, I might look like I’m few months pregnant.  Belts are one of  the wardrobe essentials, it can define and create a waist as well as curve, and instantly polishes your outfit. You can also use it to update the shape of a loose top or dress, but make sure you find the right one to match your body shape and outfit. Good Luck!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a terrific weekend. Mine was filled with tears and laughter. Well, we’re hit by a severe snowstorm on Friday and there were mountains of snow everywhere. It was so bad that I feel like I can do downhill ski right in front of my house. On Saturday morning, I usually head out around 8.45am for my 9am fitness class but guess what, I totally forgot that I need to clean my drive way in order to leave the house. So I quickly shovel a path (thinking that it’s wide and clean enough) just for my car to pass the pile of snow, but I was  so wrong with my estimate. I was stuck in between my drive way and the road, with my car floating on the snow bank!!! I ended up missing my first fitness class, but still made it to the gym an hour later. Thanks to my awesome neighbours and siblings, sorry to wake you guys up so early. Ohhh, I was embarrassed!

Okay, enough of the drama, the highlight of my weekend is the bachelerotte party my lovely bunch of girl friends throw for me on Saturday night (Did I just tell you guys that I’m getting married soon?!!! Yes, I am!!) Let me know if you would like to see the sneak peak of the party and maybe the upcoming weddings. Any wedding related suggestions for this bride-to-be would be much appreciated! Anyhow, this is the outfit I’ve wore to the party. I wanted something feminine and soft, hence, the lace, pink/blush colours and the full skirts. Not to forget, a wool coat to keep me warm from this frigid weather. Brrrrrr!
